Bangkok-based low-fare airline, Thai AirAsia X has today confirmed the closure of their operation to ASJE International Airport. This decision reportedly comes due to the lack of international travel demand continues to persist in the area the airline's based.
This close will affect the airline's solitary operation linking ASJE International Airport with Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport and Brisbane, Australia with immediate affect.
This service had been operated by an Airbus A330-900neo aircraft and had so done since late November 2019.
