Australian low-cost carrier, Bonza has today announced the immediate closure of their operations on the global passenger network between Australia and ASJE International Airport.
Bonza is closing both of the services they had served directly between Melbourne in Victoria, Australia and the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia and ASJE International Airport and were utilised by Boeing 737 MAX 8's narrowbody aircraft.
Bonza inaugurated passenger service to ASJE International Airport on June 7th, 2023 and unknowingly operated their final service to ASJE International Airport on April 28th, 2024. This closure of their operations not only removes the Australian budget carrier from the network of ASJE International Airport as an airline, but also removes the Sunshine Coast as a destination.
