New Zealand's flag carrier airline, Air New Zealand has confirmed the extension of their operations, by announcing a fifteenth service in and out of ASJE International Airport.
Utilising an Airbus A321neo aircraft, Air New Zealand is opening a new direct service from their hub at ASJE International Airport to the Samoan capital city of Apia.
Along with this new service come these milestone:
- Apia (APW) becomes passenger destination #129 on ASJE International Airport's network.
- Apia (APW) becomes overall destination #136 on ASJE International Airport's network.
- Samoa becomes country #64 on ASJE International Airport's network.
This is the first international service agreement by ASJE International Airport's hub airline, Air New Zealand, since the middle of February 2022.
